I made this simple box in just a few minutes today. The only adhesive I used was for adhering the "Merry Christmas" rectangle together.
The box is made from the Designer Series Prints paper in the River Rock color. Gold cord was used to tie the corners together. The ribbon is the River Rock double-stitched ribbon. The sentiment is from "Tags On Board" set from the Holiday mini catalog. I used the ticket corner punch on the Purely Pomegranate and River Rock rectangles. The filling for the box is just copy paper. First I crimped it and then I used the direct-to-paper technique on it with the River Rock pad. I then ran it through the paper shredder. Pretty cool, huh? I think this makes a lovely package!
The box itself is made with a 12 x 12 piece of paper. Score the paper at 4" & 8", both horizontally and vertically. You will now have nine 4" squares. Cut out the four corner squares, fold the sides up, punch holes in the corners and tie it to together. Easy peasy! (And now you have four 4" pieces of paper from the corners you cut out to use for make some beautiful cards!
