Scrapbooking in Toledo Area This Weekend

I know this is short notice, but I've been informed by the ladies at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Temperance that there's still room at their all-day crop this Saturday, March 29th.  The cost is $35.00 and includes 3 meals, prizes and fellowship with other scrappers & stampers!  I'll have a booth where you can come and do make & take's for just $1.00 (all proceeds go to the Womens' Retreat fund).  If you're interested, e-mail me at [email protected], and I'll put you in touch with the right person!

Confirmation Gift Purse

        My niece had her confirmation this weekend, and I made this little purse as a gift for her to write down her memories and put pictures from this special day.  Look closely at the "open" view and you'll see two tabs sticking out from the pockets.  You pull the tab and there's another piece of cardstock for a picture or journaling.

Scallop Punch Dahlia Fold

I love the Dahlia fold that is all the rage right now, and I find it's much easier to use the SU! scallop punch for this technique than it is to use a plain circle.  On this card I used the Groovy Guava Prints Designer Series Paper.  I think that color is just gorgeous with Basic Black.  That's a Build-a-Brad in the center (my favorite accessory!)  This card was a lot of fun to make!
