Sip by Sip stamp set - 1950's style

How about these colors for a 1950's-style card?  The blue reminds me of some white mugs with blue stripes (similar to the shortest cup in this stamp set) that someone in my family had when I was growing up (I grew up in the 60's, but the cups were still around then).  Anybody else remember cups like those?  Maybe they were in diners?

I love these two SU! colors so much that I took pieces of the cardstock to Sherwin Williams and asked if they could match them.  "Sure!" they said.  I think they did a great job.  Look closely at the first picture in the corner above the lamp.  Do you see them?  A piece of each color of CS is taped to each wall.  Pretty good match, huh?

Christmas scrapbook layout from 4th of July stamp set

I just love the Independence Day stamp set (page 31 in the catalog, item # 114992, $23.95).  I have used it for so many things other than 4th of July themed projects.  I think it works well for Christmas.  And how about that Swirls Scribbles die (Item 113441, page 200, $4.95) for use with the Big Shot machine?  It's a pretty good match for the swirl stamp, don't you think?  Enjoy these pages that my scrapbooking club made today.
