So, my sister (and SU! upline) sent me a card with this cool background on it. I stared at it, and stared at it, and stared at it, thinking "How did she do that?" Being the stubborn little sister that I am, I was determined to figure it out without calling her ;-) I finally did figure it out, and now I'm going to share it with you!
Here's the card.
Here's a close-up of the background:
I couldn't figure out how the main part of the card was pink and the embossed part was white. WTHeck? Are you thinking the same thing? "How did she do that?"
Here's how:
Brayer ink onto your SU! Texturz Background plate.
Place the inked-up Texturz plate onto your Multipurpose Platform (which should already be positioned in your Big Shot machine) and carefully lay your cardstock piece on top of the Texturz plate (be careful not to move the cardstock piece once it's on the plate).
Place the following on top of the cardstock piece: (1) a scrap piece of paper (so you don't get ink on your silicon rubber piece), (2) the silicone rubber piece and (3) the impressions pad.
Run it through the Big Shot and TA-DA, a very cool background!
Whaddaya think? Pretty cool, huh?
Notice the layered corduroy buttons! Just take a brad-style button and place the prongs through the front of a regular two-hole button.
The stamp set (A Little Birdie Told Me) shown on this sample is retiring at the end of this month. Contact me today to order yours!
The Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point corduroy buttons and the Pacific Point striped ribbon were still available as of this morning, but the list changes daily as accessories run out. Don't miss out, place your order today!
Very cool! love it
