Gorgeous Leadership Swap Card

Isn't this beautiful?  I received it as a swap at Leadership Conference from a demonstrator named Chiaki.  My club members made it yesterday, and they all loved it.  It uses the new Vintage Vogue stamp set and Very Vintage wheel from the Occasions Mini Catalog, which was one of the first sets on my list after receiving the catalog.  Enjoy!

My Leadership Swap Card

This is the card I made (45 of them) to swap at Leadership.  I did a lot of the assembling while I sat at the Detroit Airport for almost 14 hours.  Sure glad I hadn't packed everything in my suitcase!  Then my awesome roommates in Phoenix helped me finish them.  Thanks roomies!

A Few Pictures from Leadership Conference

Well, leadership was fantastic!  We had such a great time in Phoenix.  Thought I'd share some pictures.

These were the Make & Take projects.  Cute, huh?

Roommate gifts!  Yep, the flowers on the scarf were cut out with - you guessed it - the Big Shot!  The large item in the back is a purse! Thanks for the gifts Ruth, Kim & Terri!   
 

 The stamp set (Love Bandit) and gifts we received at Managers' Reception.  The orange fabric is a beautiful shawl!  We shook the maracas at the Mexican Rodeo where, unfortunately, one of the cowboys fell off a horse and broke two bones in his leg.  Yikes!

All the stamp sets we received, and a gorgeous quilt block.  The stamp set on the far right is one that'll be coming out in the Summer Mini.  It is stunning! 

 

Is this great, or what?  The pieces were cut out using the Big Shot.  The flower petals and leaf were made using the 5-point star die.  Yep, you can cut about 5 pieces at a time with that baby!  Know any quilters?  Send them to my blog to look at these!  What a time-saver for them! 

The quilt blocks were sewn together by people at the SU! home office who brought their own sewing machines in to work in order to make these for all Leadership attendees (over 1,000 of us)!  Are  SU! employees the BEST, or what???  I LOVE SU! 

As you can see, you practically have to take an extra suitcase with you when you go to an SU! event!

Hello fellow stampers.  I want to thank you for your patience, your prayers and your cards.  It has been a tough holiday season for me with my mom passing away just four days before Christmas.  I am starting to get back into "Demonstrator mode."  I'm leaving for Phoenix Tuesday morning for SU!'s Leadership Conference.  One of my sisters will be there, too, and it will be wonderful to see some family again.  We thought about cancelling our trip, but we decided that our mom, who was an avid stamper and once a Demonstrator herself, would want us to go.

While I'm gone, you'll want to peruse the Sale-a-bration and Occasions catalogs (links below).  The start date for both is January 5th (tomorrow!)
