Hello fellow stampers! I had to share this card with you. It just "came to me" a couple of weeks ago. This is a true "Donna Original," and those of you who know me know that those are rare, lol. Perhaps there are others who have thought of making a tree from that bird, but I was afraid to try to find out, for fear of bursting my own bubble, lol.
You need 8 birds to make the tree. Just layer them, starting from the bottom and going up. The first two (bottom) birds will barely overlap (basically one head over the other head), the next two will overlap a little more, and so on until you've built your tree. It's not difficult, just bring each ascending set of branches in closer, building your tree so that it gets narrower at it goes up, like a regular Christmas tree. Only the top two birds need to be trimmed (but do it once they are overlapped and adhered together); the rest are whole birds. The top two "branches" are actually the beaks of the top two birds.
I hope you enjoy the card!
