Sale-a-Bration & Occasions Mini Sample - Owl Birthday Card

Hello stampers!  I finally got my order from the Occasions Mini Catalog and my Demonstrator preorder of Sale-A-Bration items.  I am in LOVE with the Punch Bunch stamp set and the Ribbon & Button Pack from the SAB catalog, as well as the fantastic Bring on the Cake stamp set from the Occasions Mini catalog.  Here's a sample I made yesterday.  Enjoy!

 

The stamp at the bottom (from the Bring on the Cake set from the Occasions Mini catalog) actually says "So many candles, so little cake," but I decided to cover up the word "candles" with the word "friends" for this card.  I love it!  The "friends" stamp is from the set Friends 24/7 in the big catalog.  BTW, I used the owl punch to cover up the center of the owls' eyes, because they were looking straight ahead.  I just punched the medium circles from the punch and drew the black dots with a marker, so the owls would be looking at the cake.

I got this set for free from Stampin' Up! for participating in a challenge.   I think there are many possibilities with this stamp set, and it makes a great background.

I know!  You thought they were only for addresses, right?  Not!  You can put whatever you want (within character limits) on your own personalized stamp!  You can see all of the choices for our personalized stamps on pages 144-145 of the big catalog.

Hello fellow stampers!  I hope everyone had wonderful holiday season.
