Dasher Christmas Thank You Card

This could easily be changed to a Christmas card by simply swapping out the greeting.  I wanted to do a thank you because I think most of us have a need for thank-you cards around this time of year. 

I decided to try a vintage look, which is a challenge for me.  Vintage isn't really "my thing," but I know many of you do enjoy vintage, and it's good to challenge myself.  (Psssst ... Four Frames and Paisley Petals Thinking of You

The Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper was calling my name this morning as I was trying to come up with a card for a friend.  The combination of Bravo Burgundy and Baja Breeze is not one I would normally think of on my own, so thank goodness for SU! - they do all the thinking for me with their color combinations in their Designer Series Papers.  I think my friend will like this card.  How about you?

How's this for a "WOW" Christmas Card?

I was in the mood to play the other day, and, inspired by a Christmas ornament, I decided to make this card.  It took quite a while, but I think it was worth the effort.  Can I just say ... I LOVE the new Simply Scored!

Stamps:  None.  Colors:  Garden Green, Bravo Burgundy, Whisper White (used for brick), Very vanilla (used for door), Daffodil Delight (for "light" coming from top of door).  Accessories:  Simply Scored (used for making brick and door panels), gold cardstock (kickplate at bottom of door), Silver Glimmer Paper, Final Press Embossing Folder (trees), Petals A Plenty embossing folder (wreath), Gold Brads, Real Red 1/8" ribbon, Small Scallop Circle punch, Large Scallop Circle punch (for garland), 1 1/4" circle punch and 1 3/8" circle punch (for wreath), 2-step owl punch (for silver dots on wreath), Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch (top of door), 1 3/4" circle punch (behind Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, for top of door).

Stocking Box Candy Holder

Hello stampers!  Here's a box I made using the new Holiday Stocking Die and the Stocking Accents Die for the Big Shot (both in the Holiday Mini Catalog).  The inside is actually a bag that I cut down to fit the shape of the stocking. 

    
Stamps:  None!  Colors:  Real Red, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White.  Accessories:  Big Shot, Holiday Stocking Die, Stocking Accents Die, Petals A Plenty Embossing Folder, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder,  2 3/8" scallop punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, 1/8" real Red Grosgrain ribbon, Sticky Strip, Stampin Dimensionals, white gel pen.

This was the "to-go kit" some of the stampers received at my Bag 'Em and Tag 'Em class on Friday night.  Ask me how you can get one of these kits for yourself!

Isn't he the cutest thing?  I saw a sample on the Demonstrator-exclusive portion of the SU! website and I knew I had to make one.
