I loved the Elementary Elegance Sale-a-Bration stamp set the minute I saw it. I just loved the little tiny crown, butterfly, bird and key, and the fact that the set has two sentiments - "Happy" and "Hello."
Here's a card my club members made yesterday. We used the Stained Glass technique on this card.
To do stained glass, you stamp your image on vellum using Staz-On Jet Black ink. Then you flip the vellum over and color the image from the back side. This technique gives the coloring a soft look when you view it from the front, and (the best part) you don't have to be really careful with your coloring.
Once the image was colored, we punched it out using the large scallop circle punch. We also used that punch on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and placed that behind the vellum, since a white underlay will show the colored parts better. To hold the pieces together, we punched holes in each side and used brads, because adhesive would have shown through the vellum. We placed those pieces onto a 2 1/2" circle punched from Soft Suede cardstock.
