Christmas Stamp Sets and the New Catalog

Hello stampers!  Those of you who have received your new catalog have no doubt noticed that there are no Christmas stamp sets shown.  Not to worry!  Stampin' Up! will still have Christmas stamp sets!  The Christmas stamp sets will be featured in the Holiday Mini Catalog (coming August 1).  Meanwhile, some Christmas sets (although not pictured in the catalog) will continue to be available during the 2013-2014 catalog year.  Here's the official Stampin' Up! notification:

Carryover Stamp Sets                

With the release of the retired list, some of you may be wondering which Christmas stamps will still be available. Don't cry or pout, we've gotcha covered!

• Evergreen Stamp Set (available in French)
• Greetings of the Season Stamp Set (available in French)
• Jewish Celebrations Stamp Set
• More Merry Messages Stamp Set (available in French)
• Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set
• Snowflake Soiree Stamp Set (available in French and Spanish)

Can you handle more good news? These sets will still be available during the 2013-2014 catalog year. They will not be featured in the catalog, but will be available in the Online Store and OEX.

With the exception of More Merry Messages, all of the above-listed stamp sets were featured in the 2012 Holiday Catalog.

So, breathe a sigh of relief.  We knew SU! wouldn't forget about Christmas stamp sets.  They just needed to make room for more year-round stamp sets in the big catalog :-)

An Invitation to My New Catalog Debut Saturday, June 22 (and a New Catalog Sample)

It's that time of year!  I have boxes and boxes of new catalog sitting in my living room!   They're waiting just for you, so mark you calendar and join me for this event.

Come pick up your copy of the new catalog and see some of the fabulous new products!  You'll also be able to do some stamping (of course!) with some $1.00 make & takes.  Come anytime between 9:30 and 1:00.

 Here's a sample using a new stamp set from the upcoming catalog.  It's called Wildflower Meadow.  I also used the matching embossing folder.  Cool effect, huh?  I love it!  I used one of the upcoming new In Colors called Coastal Cabana.  It is such a pretty color! 

Stamps:  Wildflower Meadow.  Colors:  Coastal Cabana (In Color 2013-2015), Whisper White.  Accessories:  Whisper White 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Two-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

 

Cards for this Saturday's Class (still one spot left)

 I had a chance to play in my stamp room a little yesterday (the laundry can wait, right?)  I came up with this card.

Blossom Punch Get Well Card

I made this card for a friend who had surgery recently.  I'm going to miss this Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper when it's gone.

I couldn't quite get the color to look accurate when I took this photo.  The blue is actually Island Indigo.  The green is Lucky Limeade.  Although it looks white, the card base and scallop oval are Very Vanilla.
