This card was on the boards at Convention. As soon as I saw it, I knew I was going to have my club members make it at our next meeting. On Wednesday they did just that. What a fun card to make!

Hi stampers! It's time for my annual Christmas Card classes! One class per month in August, September, October and November.
I'm a little late getting these classes going because I have been very busy preparing our home for the arrival of our exchange student from Spain. She arrives this coming Sunday!
I do hope you'll be able to attend one or more of these classes. They're always fun!
Attend all four classes or just some - your choice.
Details:
Location: My home in Temperance
We will make 8 cards at each class. Envelopes included. Please bring your own adhesive.
Cost: $17.00 per class.
Discounted price when you pay for all four classes in advance by August 29: $60.00 ($8.00 savings).
Class Dates: Thursday, August 29 ; Thursday, September 19; Thursday, October 17; and Thursday, November 21.
Time: 7:00 PM
NOTE: If there is enough demand, I will offer a daytime class (same dates, 10:00 AM). Let me know asap if you would like to do a daytime class. I'll need at least four participants in order to schedule daytime classes.

OK, when I first saw this stamp set, I admit I went right past it. It did not jump out at me. Then, SU! gave it to us at Convention, and they had lots of samples using it on the sample boards. Oh my! This stamp set is FABulous! It's going to be one of my "go-to" stamp sets, I can tell.
Here's a card I made Thursday night because I needed a thank you card and I just felt like playing with that set. As you can see, I also felt like using lots of bright colors!

This birthday card is a belated one, but I like to think of it as extending one's birthday celebration ;)
I used vellum cardstock to make the beer mug look frosty. I still have my old crimping tool, so I used that to give it a little texture and make it look more like a mug. I made the handle using the medium Oval punch and one of the ovals from the Ovals Framelits. The foam on top was made using the 2 1/2" scallop circle punch. The sentiment is from the Happy Hour stamp set. It's difficult to see, but I used the Stripes embossing folder on the black cardstock.

How's this for a masculine card?
Wouldn't this be perfect for the handy guy in your life?
The silver background was made using our new Foil Sheets (p. 29, Holiday catalog) and the Chevron embossing folder. Great idea, huh? I wish I could say it was mine! I took a photo of a swap card at convention and this is my version. I didn't look at the card to write down her name, but she's clever, isn't she?

Check it out! So many fun things to make!
You'll notice that the format of this catalog is different from previous catalogs. The first 16 pages show projects made with the products, but they don't show the products themselves. Then, beginning on page 18, you'll see catalog pages that look just like previous catalogs, with the products, item numbers and prices.
It takes some getting used to, but I really like this format. Products don't get missed while looking at the samples!
The best part: Under each project (or product, depending on which page you're on), there's a note that says "See it! p. ____" So, if you like the Magnificant Maple stamp on page 18, the note tells you that you can see samples with that set on page 3. If you're looking at the sample on page 3 and wondering what product that is, it tells you to "See it! P. 18."
