Make & Takes for this Saturday's New Catalog Debut Event - Are You Coming?

Here are the cards I'll have available ($1.00 ea.) to make at my New Catalog Debut party on Saturday. Are you planning to attend?  RSVP not required, but very much appreciated so I know how much cardstock to cut.  

When you purchase any of my retired stamp sets on Saturday, you'll get a credit for 50% of that amount toward new catalog merchandise ordered that day!  (Example:  Buy $20 worth of retired stamp sets, get $10 off any order placed from the new catalog that day.  Buy $40 worth of retired stamps, get $20 off, etc.)  Credits must be used the same day.  (Credit given on retired stamp sets only.)

Mosaic Madness - Make This Card at My New Catalog Debut Devent

Hi stampers!  I had a little time to play today (yay!).  I've been itching to use the new Modern Mosaic embossing folder and matching Mosaic punch.  I have the Mosaic Madness stamp set as well, but I liked this card using just the embossing and punches, so I left it at that.

This will be one of the cards offered at my New Catalog Debut on Saturday, June 22 (you'll be able to use other sentiments from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, if you don't need a "retirement" card).  I hope you can make it to the event.  It will be held at my home from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.

It's that time of year!  I have boxes and boxes of new catalog sitting in my living room!   They're waiting just for you, so mark you calendar and join me for this event.

 Here's a sample using a new stamp set from the upcoming catalog.  It's called Wildflower Meadow.  I also used the matching embossing folder.  Cool effect, huh?  I love it!  I used one of the upcoming new In Colors called Coastal Cabana.  It is such a pretty color!

Blossom Punch Get Well Card

I made this card for a friend who had surgery recently.  I'm going to miss this Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper when it's gone.

I couldn't quite get the color to look accurate when I took this photo.  The blue is actually Island Indigo.  The green is Lucky Limeade.  Although it looks white, the card base and scallop oval are Very Vanilla.

Last Day to Sign Up for Saturday's Class. Here's One Sample ...

Hi stampers!  Today is the last day to sign up for my "Farewell to Retiring Stamp Sets" class. 

I did not have time to make all the samples yesterday, as planned.  My youngest daughter injured her toe Wednesday night at karate class, and yesterday was spent visiting doctors and getting xrays.  Yep, it's broken.  No more track or karate for six weeks.  Poor thing :-(   As a result of that little adventure, today's to-do list (which involves a drive to Jackson, MI) is very long indeed!  I'll be designing the rest of the cards tonight.  Rest assured, they'll be worth your while!

Papillon Potpourri With a Vintage Twist

Here's a card I made earlier this week.  I've been on a kick lately with the First Edition Designer Series Paper and I wanted to see how it would look if I cut it out using the largest doily from the Delicate Doilies Sizzlits set.  I like it!
