Tomorrow Night's Christmas Class Cards - There's Room for You!

Here are the cards we'll be making at my Christmas card class tomorrow night (Thursday, Sept. 19), 7:00 PM.  I have room for a few more stampers.  E-mail me at [email protected] if you'd like to come.  8 cards with envelopes for $17.00.

We're using the new Circle Card Thinlit die.  LOVE those Thinlit Card dies!

Upcoming Christmas Card Classes

Christmas Card Class Series Starts Thursday, August 29

Hi stampers!  It's time for my annual Christmas Card classes!  One class per month in August, September, October and November. 

I'm a little late getting these classes going because I have been very busy preparing our home for the arrival of our exchange student from Spain.  She arrives this coming Sunday! 

I do hope you'll be able to attend one or more of these classes.  They're always fun!

Attend all four classes or just some - your choice.

Details:

Location:  My home in Temperance

We will make 8 cards at each class.  Envelopes included.  Please bring your own adhesive.

Cost:  $17.00 per class.

Discounted price when you pay for all four classes in advance by August 29: $60.00 ($8.00 savings).

Class Dates:  Thursday, August 29 ; Thursday, September 19; Thursday, October 17; and Thursday, November 21.

Time:  7:00 PM

NOTE:  If there is enough demand, I will offer a daytime class (same dates, 10:00 AM).  Let me know asap if you would like to do a daytime class.  I'll need at least four participants in order to schedule daytime classes.

Hi stampers!  I wanted to share the cards we'll be making at my Farewell to Retiring Stamps class this Saturday.  I still have one slot left in the class.  I'll be finishing up the cutting tomorrow, so let me know if I need to cut projects for you!

Come to My "Farewell to Retiring Stamps" Class - Sat., April 27

Stamp the morning away and help me say goodbye to some of the stamp sets that will be gone for good at the end of May.  We'll make six cards. 

Saturday, April 27, 10:00 - 1:00

Cost: $15.00.  RSVP by Thursday, April 25 so I know how many projects to cut.

Christmas Cards With Clear Cases for Giving - New Class!

Hello stampers!  Today I want to share with you a class I have coming up on Friday, October 12 (7:00 pm) and Sunday, Oct. 14 (1:00 pm).  It's a class where you will make 9 cards (set of four and set of five) and two adorable clear cases in which to place them.  These make great gifts!

Details:  Classes will be held at Lambertville United Methodist Church in Lambertville.

Option A:  $35.00

Holiday Mini Ornament Class

Did you see the beautiful ornament I posted yesterday?  I've had several requests for a class already!  I'm going to hold a class on Wednesday, September 12th at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM and Sunday, October 7 at 1:00 PM.  Classes will be held at Lambertville United Methodist Church at the corner of Dean & Douglas in Lambertville, MI. 

 

There are lots of details I need to share about this class, so read carefully below:

First, each person at the class needs to have their own Big Shot machine.  It is used a lot for this ornament and having everyone share my machine would take much too long.  If you don't own a Big Shot, see the bottom of this post for why it's a great time to buy one.

You will also need your own hot glue gun and your favorite green and red inkpads (I used Cherry Cobbler and Lucky Limeade on my ornament.  If you would like to, you can add these to your order.)

Additionally, each person will need the following SU! products:

- Ornament Keepsakes Bundle (Holiday Mini catalog, p. 3).  This bundle includes the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set in either wood or clear, and the Holiday Ornament Framelits.  The bundle is a great deal at $42.95 for clear and $49.95 for wood.

- Scalloped Tulle Ribbon in Cherry Cobbler (Holiday Mini catalog, p. 4, $6.95)

- Designer Faceted Buttons (Big catalog, p. 176, $5.95 )

- Silicone Craft Sheet (Holiday Mini catalog, p. 31, $5.95) (this is for use with your hot glue gun, and you are going to love it!)

- Linen Thread* (Big catalog, p. 173, $4.50)

-Tombow Multipurpose Adhesive* (Big catalog, p. 177, $3.95) (you need an adhesive that allows you to "slide" the pieces a bit)

I will provide all cardstock and the pearls for the center of the ornament.

Star Tree Card - Come Make It Thursday Night (plus, here's the blog candy winner...)

Here's one of the cards we're making at my quick class on Thursday night.  It features the new Star Tree stamp (p. 19 - $9.95).  I just love that little tree!  See the second photo for a variation.
