Hi stampers! I had a little time to play today (yay!). I've been itching to use the new Modern Mosaic embossing folder and matching Mosaic punch. I have the Mosaic Madness stamp set as well, but I liked this card using just the embossing and punches, so I left it at that.
This will be one of the cards offered at my New Catalog Debut on Saturday, June 22 (you'll be able to use other sentiments from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, if you don't need a "retirement" card). I hope you can make it to the event. It will be held at my home from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes. Colors: Strawberry Slush, Basic Black, Whisper White. Accessories: Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper, Big Shot, Modern Mosaic embossing folder, Mosaic punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Modern Label punch, Word Window punch.
One of my uplines in PA sent me this beautiful card. How lucky am I? Thanks, Connie!
Stamps: Delightful Dozen. Colors: Strawberry Slush, Whisper White. Accessories: Big Shot, Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder, Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Rhinestones.
Love that Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder! I started working on a card using that folder (and the matching punch) last night. Hopefully I'll get it finished today and it will be my next post.
I made this card for a friend who had surgery recently. I'm going to miss this Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper when it's gone.
I couldn't quite get the color to look accurate when I took this photo. The blue is actually Island Indigo. The green is Lucky Limeade. Although it looks white, the card base and scallop oval are Very Vanilla.
Stamps set: (Retired) Garden Greetings (sorry, I didn't realize I had used a retired set until I'd taken the photo and mailed the card). Colors: Island Indigo, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, Very Vanilla. Accessories: Big Shot, Top Note Die, Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper, Modern Label punch, Blossom Punch, Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, Boho Blossoms Punch, Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals.
The birds are singing, and that means spring is here! This makes me so happy that I felt the need to honor the singing harbingers of spring with a card.
Stamps: Bitty Banners. Colors: Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade. Accessories: First Edition Designer Series Paper, Big Shot, Woodgrain embossing folder, Lattice die, Bitty Banners Framelits, Two-Step Bird Punch, Pearls Basic Jewels (black Sharpie used to color the pearl black).
I am in love with this new product (and I don't even have it in my hands yet)! "What is it?" you ask. Well, that depends on which of the This and That products you buy and what you do with them. It's whatever you make it! I'm getting them all (of course!) The journal (which comes with 60 printed pages) will be my "Memory Catcher," - something I can keep on my kitchen counter or other handy spot so I can grab it and make a note when something happens that I want to record (like my daughter being appointed Manager of the local radio station last week!), or where I can put that special movie ticket stub (what year did Hunger Games come out again?), what date my youngest received her black belt ... anything I want to remember about that year.
My oldest daughter will be a senior next year, and I know it's going to be a busy, busy year that will fly by in a flash. I want her to remember everything about the year - homecoming, college applications, weekend trips to check out colleges, Spring Break, prom, where she went to dinner for her 18th birthday ... everything. I'd love to say I'm going to make a "real" scrapbook, but in case that doesn't happen, I can easily use This and That to record things throughout the year as they happen, in the moment. (If I do end up making a "real" scrapbook, this will be a great reference for me! If not, it'll be a fabulous record of the year to give to her!)

I'm so excited about the new catalog! I always love seeing the "new stuff!"
One of the new things is the beautiful Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper. It's just so vibrant, it makes you want to jump right into summer. The patterns in the paper are small, making it ideal for cards or scrapbook page borders and accents.
The swirl background on the Pumpkin Pie cardstock is from a new stamp set called Everything Eleanor. Very elegant set! The Daffodil Delight Seam Binding is new, too!
Other products used: Blossom Punch, 3/4" circle punch, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder for the Big Shot machine, Two-Step Bird Punch (leafy branch), Just Add Cake stamp set (birthday sentiment) (this set retires today!)
Enjoy, and don't forget to contact me today to order any retiring items (today is the last day)!
