Swap I made for convention

This is a card I made for a private swap at convention.  I'll be posting pics of the ones I got in the swap over the next week or so.  They are awesome!  Stay tuned.

Card using new set from convention

I needed to make a thank-you card for one of my upline ladies.  I decided to keep it simple.  I used the Eastern Blooms set for the flowers and the Flight of the Butterfly set for the sentiment.  Colors are Sahara Sand and Basic Black.  Enjoy!

 

Havin' Fun With Hodgepodge Hardware

Here's another card I made for the challenge issued by my 4th upline.  I got the inspiration for the layout from a card in Paper Crafts magazine, although I made so many changes that you would probably never guess that's where I got the inspiration!  Stamp set is Baroque Motifs.  Colors are Groovy Guava, Wild Wasabi and the Tea Party Designer Series Paper.  Enjoy!

Stampin' Club Card

This is one of the cards my club members made yesterday.  I used Soft Sky and Chocolate Chip.  I wanted to use the Hodgepodge Hardware, which will be retiring with the current catalog.  The stamp set is "Light Unto My Path".

Another card club card

This is another card my club members made on Wednesday. It's a pocket card, and it uses the pre-cut and pre-scored Wild Wasabi textured cardstock from the current special.  The only stamp set I used was the Three For You Punch Box, which is also what I used to punch the small flowers.  I got the basic idea from this card by jacobsenn on Splitcoast.  I really liked how she layered all the circle colors with the Bashful Blue Scallop.

I am soooooooo going to miss Wild Wasabi and Purely Pomegranate when they retire!  They make a striking combination.  Enjoy!

Heartfelt Thanks and Sanded Background

Hello!  I am always amazed at how well the Sanded background stamp goes with a soft, flowery-type card.  When I first saw that background, I thought immediately of masculine or western cards.  I have since discovered that it is wonderful for use with any kind of card, masculine or feminine.  It has become one of my favorite background stamps and I use it all the time. For this card, I used the Poppin' Pastels technique, using versamark and our pastels for the flower.  I also used the FABulous new polytwill ribbon from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I love that ribbon - it's so soft!  Enjoy.  The inspiration for this card came from this card by "Gem" on Splitcoast.

Still Sale-A-Brating

I just love this So Many Scallops set.  It's the one that most of my customers having been picking for their free SAB set this month.  I made this card after seeing Patty B's stamp-a-stack samples.  She is soooo talented! I loved her layout, and I just used different colors and papers.  Enjoy!
