Framelits Frenzy - Day 2

How fun is this?  A little pouch/pocket to hold a treat for someone special!  I really had fun creating this one!

I cut the largest heart framelit out of Riding Hood Red cardtsock and then I cut a smaller one out using the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I adhered the smaller heart to the larger one using Sticky Strip along the straight edges of the heart, leaving the top open for tucking in the treat.  I used Sticky Strip because it is really strong and I wanted to make sure the pocket wouldn't pull away when I placed the treat inside.

What do you think?  Do you know someone who would love to receive a little treat like this one? It's perfect or Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or any other occasion when you want to make someone feel special.  You could put anything in the pocket - a small chocolate, a tea bag, a gift card ...

Mother's Day - Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder

I used this card as a make & take at the all-day crop where I had a booth last Saturday.  The ladies loved it!

I simply ran an inked up sponge gently over the top of the embossed flower, so as to only ink the raised part.  I have an idea for a "blinged up" version that I hope to work on and post later today!  Enjoy.
