I made several of this card today to send out to a few people. I hope they like it!
I just love the Mixed Bunch stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog (probably because it doesn't require "exact" stamping, lol. You can just stamp the flowers randomly and they look great - my kind of stampin'!)
Here's the card as you open it:
The black frame is adhered to the right side of the tri-fold card, and the white oval is adhered to the left side, so that when you open the card they separate, moving in opposite directions. Fun! The Oval Scallop Frame for the Big Shot cuts out both pieces at once (inside oval and outside frame). I just layered a piece of Whisper White and a piece of Basic Black cardstock and ran them both through at the same time, getting both an oval and a frame in both colors. Now I have a white frame and black oval left over, to create another card ;-)
I used both the Silver Foil Smooch Spritz and the Color Spritzer tool with the Island Indigo marker attached to spray the card. Look closely and you'll see the effect.
