My team members made this card at our meeting tonight. A sweet card for a sweet someone. It's supposed to look like an Oreo cookie. What do you think?

I've seen several cards similar to this lately from my fellow demonstrators, so I just had to make my own version. All you really need to make a card similar to this one is a large oval punch for the pot (a circle would do, too), the Word Window punch for the top of the pot (or just a small strip of cardstock rounded at the ends), a small heart punch and some red, blue, yellow and green cardstock. Go ahead, make do with what you have on hand and give it a try. Whoever you send your card to will be thrilled!

I made these for my club members as Christmas gifts. So much fun to make! They can use it as an ornament or as a tag on their favorite bag.
To make it more sturdy, I used thin white cardboard (that comes with our Designer Series Papers) as a backing. I never throw that cardboard away!

Here's a card my club members made last week - just in time for the Stampin' Up! October Promotion. We used a dryer sheet on the center circle piece!
To make the glittery centerpiece: We punched out the center of the ornament using the 1 1/4" circle punch. Then we covered that piece with Snail adhesive (yes, the front of it - we Snailed right over the ink). Then we placed a piece of a used dryer sheet over it and pressed it down into the adhesive, trimming around the edges of the circle so no dryer sheet was showing beyond the edge. Then we took Dazzling Diamonds glitter and sprinkled it over the dryer sheet and rubbed it in with our finger, tapping off the excess. The glitter sticks to the adhesive under the dryer sheet, but the dryer sheet stays on, giving it a soft, fuzzy look. I love it!
We glued the center piece down using Snail adhesive, but we used Dimensionals on the remainder of the ornament, lifting it up a bit, so the center looked recessed, like an old-fashioned ornament.

I really love the new Mitten punch! Can you tell? Here's a card my club members made today. We embossed the mittens just like I did on the scrapbooking page I posted yesterday. Club memers had fun making this one. Club member Deb offered the fabulous suggestion of using Dotto adhesive (we stopped selling it :( but I still have some) to hold the mittens in place inside the embossing folder. Thanks Deb! Great tip!

I C.A.S.E.D. (Copy And Share Everything) this card from a friend and fellow Demonstrator, Kay S.
