A GREAT group named Tonic Sol-Fa performed for us at convention this year.  They use no instruments, but make the instrumental sounds themselves.  They are INCREDIBLY FABULOUS!  Click HERE to watch the video of a special song they made up just for us!  Too funny!

Look what I won at convention!

WOO HOO! I had the winning color of wristband (neon pink stripes) when they did a drawing during General Session, and here's what I won: New Christmas paper, new Christmas rub-ons, Baja Breeze inkpad (new in-color) and Old Olive wide grosgrain ribbon. Gorgeous, huh?! I feel a Christmas Stamp Camp coming on!

CONVENTION, CONVENTION, CONVENTION!!!

WOO HOO!  What a great time I had at convention!  There were announcements galore, free stamp sets (even one given to us by UPS men!) and tons of fun with friends!

First, you know I have to show you the new cover of the new catalog!  Isn't it GORGEOUS?  And the edge of the front cover is actually scalloped!  So pretty!  This catalog is valid beginning on August 11th, and I'm still waiting for UPS to deliver my boxes of these beauties!

I took two pictures so you could see both sides of the "Inspired by Nature" set.  It is just gorgeous!  The sayings on the small blocks are:  "live with passion" and "good works are links that form a chain of love - Mother Teresa - "

See the set in the upper right corner?  That one was delivered to us on the very last day - VIA UPS MEN who actually drove the UPS truck right into the convention center!  It was so funny!  Shelli (CEO and co-founder) was on the stage talking to us, and all of a sudden a doorbell rang and a UPS man came out onstage.  Well, of course, we all started screaming so loudly that nobody could hear anything.  He told Shelli he had a package to deliver.  She said "Here???  Well, who is it for?"  He said "Well, it says here that I'm supposed to deliver it to . . . . . . . EVERYBODY!"

OMGosh, you would not believe the roar of screams that went up in that room of 6,000 SU! demos!  It was deafening!  Some of the people that came down the aisles to deliver the stamps were actual Salt Lake City UPS men!  People were getting their picture taken with the UPS man in the aisles.  It was soooooo funny!

Then Shelli told us that UPS was giving us the stamp sets - not SU!  Well, of course, another roar went up.  And to top it off, the set they gave us is this year's Ronald McDonald House set - So Many Scallops!  That means that $12,000 will go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities!  THANKS UPS!!!
